Budget brings windfall to First Home Buyers

Posted on 20 June 2013

The O’Farrell government has released it’s 2013 budget and in a windfall to those entering the housing market for the first time, the current grant was due to be pulled back to $10,000 next year, but now will continue to be offered until 2016. The grant of $15,000 applies to new homes costing up to $650,000 and was initially offered as part of the Building the State package announced in the 2012 budget.
