“Anglicare Sydney’s mission, throughout our 158 year history, has been to serve the vulnerable, poor and socially excluded with respect, compassion and love. We believe God calls us to us to care for and love one other, just as He cares for and loves us. It is this love, shown to us in the life and death of Jesus Christ that motivates us to meet the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of others.”
The Cancer Council
We support the Cancer Council by participating in Australia's Biggest Morning Tea and the Girls Night In.
Our contribution assists the Cancer Council to continue funding research into the causes of cancer and into new and improved treatments. The Cancer Council also provides support services to cancer patients and their families and provides education programs on preventing and detecting cancer.
We sponsor a child through Compassion Australia. Our sponsored child’s name is Dieuventz Milhomme and he comes from Haiti.
Dieuventz enjoys singing, art and reading. He attends Sunday school regularly and is in kindergarten where he likes to draw.
Haiti occupies 1/3 of the Caribbean island of Hispaniola. Haiti is the least-developed country in the Western Hemisphere and one of the poorest in the world with about 80% of the population living in abject poverty.

We are committed to recycling, re-use and reduction
We extensively recycle including paper, boxes, cans, bottles, printer cartridges and computer equipment.
We have significantly reduced paper consumption through electronic document management and sending. We use email extensively to reduce paper and consumables. We use recycled paper and re-use printed paper where possible. To find out more about recycling go to Planet Ark.
