Save our Sons


"Save Our Sons is a charitable organisation seeking to raise public awareness and much needed funding for research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a form of muscular dystrophy characterized by agressive muscle degeneration, leading to inability to walk and evenutally death. This disease only affects boys with symptoms presenting themselves before the age of 5". We are strong supporters of Save Our Sons and encourage you to visit their website to see how you can help.

We are a member of Best Practice Lawyers, a group of law firms who meet on a regular basis to work on continuously improving their practices and to stay at the forefront of developments in the legal industry. As a group we share knowledge, experience, skills and abilities to allow all of the member firms to continuously improve. The objectives of BPL include mutual referrals, sharing knowledge and mutual support in learning and developing.

Our association with SAI Global began when the Law 9000 Quality Certification was released to the legal industry. SAI Global audit all of our systems every 9 months as part of our Law 9000 Quality Certification. Through the independent audit process, SAI Global test and examine our systems to ensure that we meet the stringent LAW 9000 standards. SAI Global assist us to continuously improve the way that we do things and to ultimately provide our clients with better service.

As part of our holistic approach to family breakdowns, we have developed an affiliation with a leading divorce counsellor, Ms Charlotte Thaarup-Owen. Charlotte is a Registered Dispute Resolution provider and specialises in personal and interpersonal development with a particular focus on Motivation, Thinking Skills and Divorce Coaching. The business offers Pre-Mediation Coaching using empowerment, motivation, energy and focus and a step by step programme to minimise the length and pain of divorce the process.

Dooley & Associates believes that it is often worthwhile seeking more than just legal advice to work through the issues associated with a family breakdown.
