Malcolm Campbell - Managing Partner

Malcolm is the Managing Partner of Dooley & Associates Solicitors, having first joined the firm at the start of 2001. His specialties include workplace law, business & commercial law and estate planning. Malcolm takes a very 'hands on' approach with his clients, ensuring that they receive practical, commercial and ‘real world’ guidance and solutions.  His broad education across a number of fields, including economics, law and corporate governance provides a wealth of knowledge for the benefit of his clients

Malcolm takes a great interest in all legal aspects of the business life cycle and the challenges and opportunities presented to all business operators. His extensive skills, experience and knowledge see him helping businesses to get a good start through the use of the rights structures and having relevant agreements in place.  He also helps clients navigate through their growth and expansion phase by assisting with contracts, negotiations, leasing, employment issues, disputes and if necessary litigation. His services extend all the way through to the exit phase, whether it be through sale of the business or shareholding in the entity. To compliment this Malcolm is often called upon to advise and assist clients with their estate planning, an area that is becoming increasingly more complex and requires a sophisticated approach for clients to achieve their desired outcomes.

He takes great pride in being able to distil his client's needs quickly, get to the core issues and put in place well thought out and effective strategies to help his client’s achieve their objectives as quickly, commercially and as painlessly as possible.

Malcolm is an engaging and entertaining speaker who regularly presents seminars and workshops to a wide range of audiences from groups of volunteers in not for profit organisations and charities through to top tier accountancy firms and peak body groups such as LawCover.

Through acting for a range of types and sizes of businesses, associations and organisations for 15 years (as well as operating his own business), Malcolm has developed a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced in business today. He ensures that he is readily accessible to his clients, provides timely advice and assistance cutting out the ‘legalese’ and keeps the commercial and practical realities at the forefront of all matters.
